What does miCheckup screen for?
The current offering looks for suspected microRNA signals associated with multiple solid-tumour cancers. The service is a screening tool, not a diagnostic test, and external validation work is ongoing.
How does the $49 deposit work?
The $49 reservation deposit is applied toward the $799 early-access total. The remaining $750 is requested later, when it is time to arrange your blood draw. Refund requests can be submitted through your secure order access and are reviewed by miCheckup.
Where will my blood be drawn?
When the service is ready for booking, miCheckup will provide your requisition and collection instructions. If a listed collection location is not convenient, contact us so we can discuss the available options.
What happens if a suspected signal is found?
A physician reviews the result with you. A whole-body MRI is included at no additional cost when indicated, and the physician guides the appropriate clinical follow-up.
Is miCheckup a diagnostic test?
No. It is an early-warning screening service. Cancer can only be diagnosed through appropriate clinical assessment, which may include imaging, biopsy and other tests.
How long do results take?
The expected turnaround is approximately four to eight weeks after the blood draw. Your clinical team will confirm timing when your appointment is arranged.
Does miCheckup store my credit-card or health information?
No card number is stored by miCheckup; Stripe handles payment information. The commerce account stores order, contact and payment-status information only. Clinical intake and health records are handled separately.
