Terms governing the miCheckup service.
Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or using miCheckup.
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the miCheckup microRNA multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test and the micheckup.com website (collectively, the "Service") provided by miRoncol Health Inc. ("miRoncol Health," "we," "us," "our"), a corporation incorporated under the laws of Canada with its principal office in Ottawa, Ontario.
By purchasing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Service description: miCheckup is a microRNA-based multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test built on a microRNA multi-disease screening (MMDS) platform. The Service includes blood sample collection at a partner collection centre, microRNA profiling analysis, results delivery through a secure platform, physician review, and (if applicable) whole-body MRI and structured follow-up.
Eligibility: The Service is available to adults aged 18 and older located in Canada. You must provide accurate personal and health information. You must be capable of providing informed consent. The Service is designed for asymptomatic screening — if you are experiencing symptoms that may indicate cancer, seek medical attention immediately.
Not a diagnostic test: miCheckup is an early detection screening tool designed to identify suspected cancer signals that may warrant further investigation. It is not a diagnostic test. A positive result does not confirm cancer. A negative result does not rule out cancer. All results should be discussed with a qualified healthcare provider.
Limitations of liability and dispute resolution.
